Went To See My Family Back East
For Easter week I flew back to NJ and had an amazing visit with my family and friends. I stayed with my parents in the Poconos and made trips back and forth to other places in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and even went into New York.
Easter week was a great time to visit because the grandkids has that week off from school. Also Easter got a a lot of my family up to my Mom and Dads house for Easter day. Of course there was an Easter Egg hunt, little Aden was so cute with his eggs.
Besides the Easter Eggs hunt, as always my Mom made so much amazing food that everyone was thoroughly filled and content by the end of dinner.
The Monday after Easter my 2 daughters Naomi, and Gina brought the grandkids to Oakwood lanes bowling in Washington NJ. What fun, we bowled several games and had lunch there.
It felt a bit strange because I worked there man years ago for almost 9 or 10 years part time nights. Many things change in life and some things seem to just stay the same over the years. Oakwood bowling alley is one of those places that never seems to change.
Speaking of change my daughter Gina was just about ready to pop but still played almost a full game of bowling. I was hoping she’d have the baby while I was there, but no luck.
I also took Harrison and Benjamin to the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, New Jersey. It on the river right by the statue of liberty. A wonderful place for kids
and adults. Most of the exhibits are interactive and designed for kids.

My Dad and I got out for the day to Cabelas in Hamburg PA. That place is BIG and you can spend at least half a day in there. Check out their photo tour.
I also got to spend a few hours with Naomi, Meadow and Landon up by there house. We went for ice cream cones. Yummmy.
One evening
I met Aimee and her family for dinner and then we hung out at her house. So great catching up and seeing my family. I also got out to lunch with my long time friend Peggy and her daughter.
I saw other family, friends and even did the morning in Manhattan, all which were wonderful fun.
After about 600 miles on my rental car… it was back home to Cave Creek Arizona and my Sweety Bina.
