2013 Germany Trip, Day 4-5 at the Baltic Sea

We stayed in the Strand Hotel in the town of Timmendorfer on the Baltic Sea. The weather up there was so much better than it was in Hamburg.
Bina relaxing outside our hotel having coffee and breakfast by the sea.
About a mile down the beach was a harbor. We had lunch of fresh fish fried up and chips... And of course some beer. Yummy stuff!

Further down the coast line was an Asian store with many Buddha statues and other Asian stuff.
The second day we were here, we drove down to Frankfort and got a hotel room not to far from the airport.

2013 Germany Trip, Day 3 & 4 Hamburg

Our first day in Hamburg, rain, wet, cold and more rain. I had to buy a rain jacket just to go out.
We also bought some umbrellas.
Had dinner at a Vietnamese vegan resturant called the loving hut. The food was actually really good.
The second day in Hamburg, the rain stopped and we were able to get out side. Today is my birthday. Bina and I just finished breakfast here in the hotel in Hamburg, and are heading out soon.
Walked around.. Norom found a japanese shop that actually had some shakuhachi. The old japanese woman running the shop was very nice and let me play a couple flutes. When I played Hana chidori she knew it and moved in time to it and quietly sung the words. She seemed very happy at having us there and playing the flute for her.
Took the subway to the garden in central Hamburg and found an Asian garden.
We then drove up north to the sea.

2013 Germany Trip, Day 2 visiting Wildflicken

First we drove past the house I lived in Einsrafhoff.
The house I lived in.
From there we went to gasthoff Roth and saw Margaret. The gasthof looks almost exactly as it did in 1980.
Margaret, looking good after all the years!
Having lunch
One last photo before we head on to Hamburg.
Then traveled to Hamburg. On the way had a late dinner at a Croatia restaurant.
